DIRECT ACCESS is a service provided to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula for immediate scheduling and intake of patients. Patients can schedule an appointment with a physician, and complete patient forms online using our paperless system.

Buprenorphine is an opioid medication which was recently developed specifically to help people with opioid dependence. It can be administered safely and legally in a clinical setting by your qualified physician. It helps patients to get off the opioid they are addicted to with minimum discomfort and maintain a healthy alternative that is safer to use. The safest Buprenorphine drug is a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone which is sold under the brand name Suboxone©.

At Bright Heart Health is the first Telemedicine Opioid Treatment Program provided to CHOMP patients. Our providers meet with client's through video-conferencing after an initial in-person visit. Telemedicine makes treatment convenient and easily accessible.
